Re : The Librarian

I spoke to her on the phone today. She's fine, both mentally and physically.

She claims being on good terms with her late husband's family, especially with his son.

She was in a hurry to a lecture, and invited me to pay her a visit at her protected facility.

I'm very glad of the conversation with her.

  2. Duta, though I haven't mentioned this before, I worry about you quite a bit, in your war zone. I pray for your safety, and your neighbors.

    1. Thanks, Boud for your prayers.
It's not for my age to deal with shelters, rockets, alarms. I've done this in the past. Perhaps it was a mistake coming here. I just wish to survive. I 'm not looking for land and holy places.

  3. She lives in a protected facility and was on her way to a lecture on improving memory skills. I smiled to myself at that. When one lives in a place with no worries about the house , the food, the health issues - one needs those lectures to activate the thoughts and mind.

    1. It has been a very long time since my last conversation with her; so at first, she didn't recognize my voice, only when I told her my last name, it revived her memory.
Thanks for the prayers, dear Mari.

  26. It’s wonderful to hear that you had a positive conversation with The Librarian and that she is doing well both mentally and physically. It's great to know she is in good spirits and maintaining positive relationships with her late husband's family.

Her invitation to visit her at her protected facility sounds like a meaningful opportunity. It’s clear she values your connection and wants to maintain it.

If you do decide to visit, it might be nice to bring something thoughtful or a small gesture to show your appreciation for her invitation. Enjoy your visit and the chance to catch up with her! www.melodyjacob.com
