The USA has accused Russia of interfering  with the last american general elections. Now she's accusing China of withholding vital information regarding the corona virus.

Even if both accusations are well-founded , they put the accuser (USA) in an inferior position, that of the 'whining' victim. One asks oneself, how could that happen to the great american  nation, a nation with the most powerful secret service in the world. Not pleasant at all.

The young couple Meghan and Harry.are chased by the Press and by all  kinds of other circles, but one feels that it's actually Meghan that draws fire from all sides.  Not fair.

Harry is not just another young man who falls in love; he's a member of the royal british family. He should have married , in my opinion, a british girl, but he didn't.  He's chosen  Meghan, who's american and divorced.
History repeats itself.:Edward (king Edward VIII)  and Wallis Simpson (an american socialite divorcee).

True, Harry is not king and won't have to abdicate the throne. He probably won't even  have to find a job to earn money like any commoner. He's still Prince, and has even retained the title of Royal Highness.

However, he should have learnt his lesson from his ancestor  - when the chances are your choice isn't fully accepted by family, or society or both - there isn't much happiness waiting  around the corner for you.

  1. So true about Prince Harry. I truly hope they endure the test of time and make it to the finish line of death do them part and not end up divorced. I try to stay out of politics so I am not sure what is going on or happened previously between Russia and the United States. Whoever is in charge I trust God has them there for a reason and he is ultimately in control of it all. Looking back at biblical history some interesting characters were on the throne and all were used as God intended them to be used. I do pray for our leaders and am praying for the upcoming election here.

    1. I hope so too for the young couple, but society can be merciless.
Look how they chased Diana till death. They wouldn't have dared do that if her lover was some english aristocrat and not the egyptian Doddy El Fayad.
In a way, Dayana was then, and Harry is now, utterly naive .

Regardless of what happened if it happened with Russia, America has a reputation to defend. She can't act just like any other country and play victim. Does she want to be the leader of the world or not, that's the question.

  2. Trump has reached his target "Make America great again" only the other way around ! America had never ever since I am born had such a bad reputation of stupid people having voted for such a clown. Fortunately they are not all like that, I hate to generalize. Harry is a special case, he had an awful childhood and saw his mum being chased like a prey by the press and finally she was killed. It's even a miracle that he became such a nice boy. His mum hated "the firm" and I think he hates it too ! Imagine a 13 year old boy walking behind the coffin of his mummy and millions are watching each step ! what a nightmare.

    1. Hi Gattina,
I've mentioned two accusations made by the USA:
      1. russian interference with the elections (made by Trump's opponents)
      2. China's misbehaviour about the corona virus (made by Trump himself).

Both accusations are what we call "throwing the baby out with the bathwater" - the baby being the USA and its credibility in the world.

  3. I am not able to understand the fixation on this young couple. Surely there are other events in the world for the media to cover. I find them no more interesting than the weather forecast! I am just happy that they left Canada.

    1. There are quite a few elements that make this couple a great source for juicy gossip.

I suspect, however, that Meghan,an actress by profession, likes to be in the attention of the public and does things about that - although it might ultimately turn against her.

  4. "The USA has accused Russia of interfering with the last american general elections."

Now they are saying this did not happen. Of course, who do we believe? But for me it was hard to believe from the beginning. Russia is not all powerful and this is not the Cold War.

"Now she's accusing China of withholding vital information regarding the corona virus."

Who funded the Wuhan lab. That's interesting. Well, they say we did, the US. Why?

    1. The issue is not whether the accusations are true or not , but the mere voicing of them which shows the USA as a weak country with an incapable security service.

  8. With a leader like we have in the US, what can you expect? And to land in a crisis like the one we are in now, being leaderless becomes a matter of life and death. As far as Harry goes, it's amazing to me that there still are royals in this world. I hope that Harry can find a way to free himself fully from that bond. But then, of course, there's the paparazzi! Love how you always raise thoughtful issues on your blog.

    1. I'm afraid there are no leaders nowadays, only politicians, and I dislike them all.

I also find it amazing that royalty still exists; it's redundant, out of time and place. Most royals are unproductive and useless.

  9. I wish Harry and Meghan well...Harry deserves happiness, I see nothing wrong with him following his heart. I hope peace of mind, love and happiness is his to keep and enjoy. I hope he and Meghan are able to follow their own path.

I loved the latest video released in celebration of baby Archie's firs birthday.

Keep taking good care, DUTA :)

    1. Everyone deserves happiness; everyone deserves following one's heart. Harry, too, of course.
But Harry 's not everyone,or at least so he was told. Neither he nor Meghan who're used to public attention, will accept to live an anonymous, quiet life. The paparazzi know this and will take full advantage of it.
So, I wish them the best but fear for the worst, unless they understand the danger and take action to prevent it.

  11. I love Harry and Meghan to bits and hope they find what they need to be happy forever, given what they have let go. Although I'm not sure that being royal is all that great a life and that what they did was the right thing. He is, after all, sixth down and unless covid or a war knocks out the whole lot, I don't think he has to worry about returning as king.

As for Trump, I hate the man, hate the whining, hate the narcissism and the dangerous things he does and says. America used to have a reputation. What we have now, if any, is pathetic.

    1. I'm used to say that politicians are not worth of our strongest feelings : love and hate.
When talking or writing about them, I usually use weaker words such as dislike, resent (for hate).

So, here you are openly saying you hate Trump. I highly appreciate your honesty. Find it a bit hard, though, to connect between your very lovely figure and blog, and the feeling of hatred.

      Royalty demands commitment,discipline.
It's not for everyone. There were and still are many scandals within royal families. I'm for abolition of royalty.

  16. Duta, I agree these days it's hard to now who and what to believe. That said, I do take exception to your description of the USA as whining because as a citizen here I must defend my country as I feel you would do the same for yours and so would others for their own. And, this does not mean I condone or accept everything the government is doing or has done or even will do in the future.
As for Harry-Meghan, what they do is of little interest to me and I will not judge what should or should not have been done. Everyone has the right to make his/her own decisions.

    1. I do understand your point.
However, to the world - the USA is not just another country , and Harry-Megan not just another couple.

They illicit interest, criticism, are asked to pay a price. The price is for the USA's aspiration to lead the world',and for the young couple's wish to stay in the public focus.

  18. DUTA, it's about war. What we call the Deep State has been around for a while now. Some call it the Shadow Government. What we hear on the media is propaganda. The Deep State isn't just an American ruling elite, it's worldwide. Plato's cave allegory says it all. What they're showing us is all political theater.

    1. I must confess the concept is new to me. The Deep State, is it a shadow, conspirational state based on Intelligence people and on oficcials in the government that influence policy and presidents?

To me, a non american outsider, not involved in any politics, there are things that seem very strange. It's not only the two topics of Russia and China ,mentioned above, but also the affair of Hillary's emails, which in any other country would have been considered treason, and she put in jail, and yet she was encouraged to run for Presidency.
      Anyway, you've made me think.

    2. The crime syndicate goes way back in this nation. Have you heard Bob Dylan's new song, "Murder Most Foul?" Some believe it began with Kennedy's assassination. The song indicates that he's of this opinion. As for Hillary's emails, you're on target about the treason. Case in point about the Deep State. Those who are in the club get by with murder.

    3. I looked up the lyrics of Dylan's song "Murder Most Foul". Such powerful words! Such a great ballad!

It's about the assassination of J.Kennedy - an event that was most foul and paved the way to decay and deterioration of the nation.
